In May 2021, she dropped her debut hit single Build a Bitch under Warner Records. Poarch has more than 66 million followers by May 2021 and is ranked third on TikTok behind Charli d'Amelio & Addison Rae. Poarch was born in the Philippines. Interviewers on the "H3" Podcast the story of how she was raised by her grandmother in slums up to the time she turned 3. Kenneth Taylor (an American expat) and Eden Taylor, a foster family member, adopted her. Poarch explained that for the following 10 years, she was mainly spending her days working on the family farm as well as doing chores.
